Konosuba Receives New Video Game

By Josh PiedraJune 19, 2020

Hot on the heels of announcing that a DanMachi video game is heading West, 5pb. announced that a brand-new Konosuba game is in the works! The game is titled Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku o! – Kono Yokubō no Ishō ni Chōai o! (Love for These Clothes of Desire!) and is a fully-voiced adventure in which you need to go around and gather materials to dress up Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness.

The game’s story involves Kazuma’s party finding a magical item known as the Black Slate which has the ability to make clothes. After being accused of stealing the Black Slate by Sena, they are threatened with banishment. Kazuma also discovers that Megumin, Darkness, and Aqua’s personalities received a complete and total swap and thus, he needs to use the Black Slate to make them clothes that fulfill their new desires.

As of right now, the game is slated for release in Japan for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on September 24.
