The next game from developer Heart Machine isn’t a follow-up to Hyper Light Drifter, but a new game called Solar Ash. Shown during the PlayStation 5 reveal event, Solar Ash is the new project that’s set to be released on both the PlayStation 5, but also the PC via the Epic Games Store.
Not much is known about the game, however, there is a description listed on the Epic Games Store page, that reads as follows:
“Journey through a surreal, vivid and highly stylized world filled with mystery, wild high-speed traversal, endearing characters, and massive enemy encounters.”
Sure, that doesn’t really say much, but we did a little bit of content. Outside of that, what we did see in the trailer does look pretty damned good. I’m looking forward to Solar Ash as the trials had a familiar vibe and reminded me of the Gravity Rush series.
Speaking of Hyper Light Drifter, if you haven’t played the game, you’re missing out and you should give it a try. It’s currently available on Steam, Xbox and PlayStation 4, priced at $19.99
