Eden’s Zero Receives Television Anime

By Josh PiedraJune 12, 2020
Eden's Zero

Hiro Mashima is returning to television as his latest manga series, Eden’s Zero, has been green-lit for a television anime adaptation. It had been previously teased that the manga would have a huge announcement and whenever that happens, more often than not, it ends up being the announcement of a television anime and, well… here we are!

Fairy Tail in Space (sorry, I couldn’t resist) does not have a release date as of yet, nor is there any mention of a cast or studio but the announcement did ask fans to stay tuned as there are more announcements to come.

MyAnimeList.net describes Eden’s Zero as follows:

A young boy gazes up at the sky and sees a streaming bolt of light. The friendly, armor-clad being at his side tells him gently, “That’s a dragon.” The fact that he’s joking isn’t important. What’s important is the look of wonder on the boy’s face… and the galaxy-spanning adventure that’s about to take place!

The manga has been serialized in Shounen Weekly magazine since June 27, 2018. Hiro Mashima has also created Rave Master and Fairy Tail.
