Phantasy Star Online 2 heads to Windows 10 next week

Phantasy Star Online 2 coming to Xbox One and PC

My fellow PC Phantasy Star Online 2 North American friends, the long wait is finally over. While we’ve had to endure the torture of not being able to play the game without accessing the Japanese servers for 10 plus years. But thanks to the efforts of Microsoft, PSO2 is finally making the trek across the ocean and will be playable on PC on May 27th, 2020. Which just happens to be next week!

Are you excited yet? I know I am! Especially seeing how I’ve been waiting for this day since I wrote my first PSO2 article back in 2012!

While many of you have likely already played Phantasy Star Online 2 on the Xbox One as the wait was too much, we’re almost at the finish line. As for me, I haven’t played an MMO that took up as much time as the Phantasy Star Online, and that includes World of Warcraft. Though the latter was a close second.

I’m actually a bit scared, to be honest as I have no idea how I’m going to get much of anything done once the game is playable for PC. Still, I can’t wait to dive in.

Phantasy Star Online 2 is Free to Play but does offer several microtransactions that do not affect gameplay. The game will also support cross-play, so you can play alongside your Xbox One friends or transfer your items from the Xbox One version of the game as well.

For more information on Phantasy Star Online 2, be sure to check out the official website.

The time to #JoinARKS is finally revealed. Phantasy Star Online 2, one of Japan's biggest online action RPGs, arrives on Windows 10 next week, on May 27th.
