The Millionaire Detective – Balanced: UNLIMITED Postponed

By Cole EckerleApril 24, 2020

It’s been very difficult to enjoy this spring anime season of 2020. Due to a certain pandemic, many of the highly anticipated animes expected to be broadcasted this season have been pushed back. We’re now roughly 3 weeks into this season and I finally got over the fact that I’ll have to wait for the next season of Re:Zero. Finally, I went into browsing what this season had to offer and The Millionaire Detective – Balance: UNLIMITED ended up being one of my favorites from the current selection. The first two episodes were very promising and had me thoroughly entertained, so needless to say I was excited about the following week’s episode. To my dismay and certainly many others… we got bad news. The official website for the anime The Millionaire Detective – Balance: Unlimited announced that it will resume broadcasting on July 16, 2020.

I could rip into how disappointed I am with this news as well as how disappointed I am with this season, but to give credit where it’s due, being concerned for your staff’s well-being is way more important than forcing out shows to keep viewers entertained. If we’re going to be optimistic, the show could’ve been canceled, but luckily it was merely postponed so we’ll get to see more of The Millionaire Detective… just a ways further into the year.

With all that being said, whether you choose to seek out a new release to enjoy this season or possibly catch up on some shows you’ve missed from previous seasons, one thing is for sure. The summer anime season of 2020 is going to be straight fire… so catch up on what you can while you’re stuck inside and brace yourself for a wonderful summer season of releases!
