The Irregular at Magic High School Series And Movie Coming To Funimation

By Josh PiedraApril 20, 2020

Funimation and Aniplex of America have teamed up again! This time, they are bringing The Irregular at Magic High School to Funimation on May 1! This includes both the television anime series as well as the movie, The Irregular at Magic High School: The Girl Who Summons the Stars. The broadcast of both will be available for a two-week period so be sure to check it out while you can!

Funimation describes The Irregular at Magic High School as follows:

Brother and sister Tatsuya and Miyuki Shiba have enrolled at the National Magic University Affiliated First High School. Miyuki will be starting as an elite Course 1 student whereas Tatsuya, because he’s stricken by a certain deficiency, will be a Course 2 student as an “irregular.” Admired by her fellow students, Miyuki worships only Tatsuya, causing him to draw the ire of the Course 1 students.

This is coming hot off the heels of Funimation’s announcement that brought the Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl movie to their streaming service. It is all part of Funimation’s plan to launch special programming in collaboration with its partners to bring joy and to give back to the anime community. During these uncertain times, a little bit of entertainment goes a long way and Funimation is remaining committed to doing just that for the anime community.
