Sonic The Hedgehog Movie Gets Honest Trailer Treatment

When it comes to video game movies…they’re usually pretty terrible. And we mean TERRIBLE. Think about it, the only one that had an actual run as a franchise was Tomb Raider for two films (because of Angelina Jolie) and then the Resident Evil saga. But, in recent years, that’s changed via Detective Pikachu, and now, Sonic The Hedgehog. The blue blur shocked many with its quality, but just how good was it really? When in doubt, do an Honest Trailer!

That’s right, the Honest Trailer team is here to put the truth to the Sonic The Hedgehog movie, and it’s not afraid to shoot straight to the heart of things…by reshowing you exactly what Sonic ALMOST looked like in the film!

From the internet rioting in order to make this movie good to the fact that James Marsden…was in the film, to the fact that when it comes to catching rare and exotic animals you NEED Jim Carrey to be there, and more! This trailer is equal parts joy and hilarity as it picks the movie apart for things like shameless advertising, a lack of supporting cast, and the fact that hopefully, the sequel is even better because of Tails! I’m just saying.

So whether you were a fan of the movie or not, you should definitely check this out.
