Did you know there’s a hidden assault rifle in the Resident Evil 3 Racoon City Demo?

Did you know that there’s a hidden assault rifle in the Resident Evil 3 Racoon City Demo that’s available for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC? Well, there is and we’re going to show you how to get it.

If you’ve played the demo already, you probably noticed that there are no other weapons in the demo other than the handgun you start with and the shotgun you can acquire. However, the assault rifle is available, but it’s only available if you die. Yes, once you die there’s an option to change the game to an assisted- game mode. In this new mode, you’ll be granted a larger inventory system, aim-assist, weaker enemies, health recovery and an assault rifle.

Of course, the downside to this, other than dying, is once you enable this mode you can’t disable it. While this doesn’t mean much for the demo, it does likely mean this will be available in the full game.

So go ahead, die, chose the assisted mode and wreck some zombies with the assault rifle. Then wait patiently or not, for when the full game of Resident Evil 3 releases on April 3rd, 2020, for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

While you’re here, check out our impressions of the Resident Evil 3 Racoon City demo below.
