Fears of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) are causing conventions, events, trips, airports, and other services to shut down to help contain the spread. Anime Expo announced that despite concerns, it will continue on as scheduled.
Anime Expo will continue to monitor the situation regarding COVID-19 and make any announcements of changes if they feel it is warranted. The convention is scheduled to take place between July 2 and July 5.
Of course, just because the event is continuing, it doesn’t mean guests, panels, or companies won’t cancel their appearances. Always make sure to stay up-to-date for any announcements as we progress towards the summer months.
