Since its announcement in January 2019, All Elite Wrestling has been one of the hottest things in professional Wrestling today. Its arrival on TNT via AEW Dynamite helped blast apart expectations, and now everyone sees them as a credible threat to being one of the best wrestling shows in the world. But, fans have noted that one of the key problems with AEW currently is the lack of titles for certain superstars. That fear was ended today.

On the latest episode of their “Road To…” series, they revealed that they are creating a new title belt via the TNT Championship. This title will be award to the winner of a tournament that will be revealed in part this week on AEW Dark, and then filled out in full on AEW Dynamite. The final two participants will face off at the next AEW PPV, Double or Nothing, to crown the winner.
