It’s just like Dodge Roll Games to announce this right at the moment when you least expect them to. That’s exactly what they recently did with the announcement that Exit the Gungeon, the follow-up to Enter the Gungeon, is headed to PAX East 2020.

Exit the Gungeon will be at #PAXEast this weekend ahead of the Steam launch in the coming weeks!

While we don’t have a release date for the game yet, just a Spring 2020 release window, fans of the game will be able to get some hands-on very soon. Well, they will if they’re heading to PAX East 2020. While it wasn’t mentioned as to what booth to check it out at, you might as well hit all of Developer Digital’s booth, 24051, 25051, 26051. You can’t miss them, they’re right outside the Indie Megabooth.

Exit the Gungeon is a bullet hell dungeon climber immediately following the adventures of the misfit ‘Gungeoneers’ and their journey for personal absolution in Enter the Gungeon. The Gungeon has become a paradox and is collapsing! Armed with an ever-changing weapon, an insatiable need to loot, and the trusty dodge roll, each of our heroes must ascend and escape via their own unique route of increasingly perilous elevators. Battle against the last and most bitter of the Gundead at a frantic pace, slowing down just long enough to chat with some familiar faces… and a few new ones. Shifting rooms, enemies, bosses, bizarre weapons and items all combine to ensure that no two attempts to Exit the Gungeon are the same.

Many of you will recall that this title was originally an Apple Arcade exclusive. Thankfully wiser minds prevailed and decided to release it for the rest of the gaming platforms. It will be available for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Switch. Should you want to pre-order the game on Steam, you can do so here.
