Crunchyroll was in attendance at this year’s C2E2 convention in Chicago, Illinois and they had a few announcements to make with the biggest being details on Tower of God, an anime that is set to be part of their Crunchyroll Originals slate!

The first piece of news regarding Tower of God is the announcement of its staff! The following people were announced for behind-the-scenes and on-air roles:

Main Staff

  • Director – Takashi Sano (We can also publish his revised comment that we didn’t release on 2/25)
  • Assistant Director –  Hirokazu Hanai
  • Series Composition – Erika Yoshida
  • Character Design – Masashi Kudo & Miho Tanino
  • Music – Kevin Penkin

Main Characters & Voice Cast (Bam, Rachel & Headon)

  • Bam – Taichi Ichikawa
  • Rachel – Saori Hayami
  • Headon – Hochu Otsuka

Next is that they announced Tower of God will premiere on Crunchyroll starting April 1 (my birthday!).

Lastly, they unveiled a promotional trailer that details the two main characters as well as their relationship. You can check out the trailer below:

Tower of God wasn’t the only thing talked about at C2E2 as Crunchyroll also unveiled the cast and premiere date for the English dubbed version of In/Spectre! The announced cast is as follows:

  • Kotoko Iwanaga: Lizzie Freeman
  • Kuro Sakuragawa: Brandon Winckler
  • Saki Yumihara: Lauren Landa

In/Spectre’s English dub is set to being streaming on Saturday, February 29! In/Spectre mixes supernatural romance with an enthralling, fantastical mystery, as a duo sets out to solve a series of dark incidents plaguing their world. The subtitled season is airing now on Crunchyroll.

Lastly, for fans of The Rising of the Shield Hero, Crunchyroll announced that they are doing a collaboration with Your Passion Jewelry to bring new Naofumi, Filo, and Raphtalia designs to pendants, necklaces, earrings, and more! These are available for purchase at C2E2 and preorder now.
