Ultra Instinct Goku is coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ

Ultra Instinct Goku - Dragon Ball Super

This game can fit so many Goku’s

Make way for yet another Goku character to arrive on Dragon Ball FighterZ‘s roster. This time, it’s the ultra powered Ultra Instinct Goku, that made his debut in the Dragon Ball Super manga and anime. This will be the fourth time that Goku has been made available as DLC.

According to ryokutya2089, the official announcement of the character will be made during the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour Final from February 8 – 9, 2020, being held in Paris, France.

You had to figure he’d make the roster one day, as they already released Jiren. So Ultra Instinct Goku was only a matter of time. I wonder what the Dramatic Finisher for when those two square off is going to look like. Also, there better be a damned good theme of the Ultra Instinct Goku transformation theme.

For those curious on just how many Goku’s there are now, let’s take count. We got base Goku, Super Saiyan Goku (SSJ Goku), Super Saiyan Blue Goku, Goku Black, Kid Goku, Gogeta (Goku & Vegeta Fusion Dance) and Vegito (Goku & Vegeta Potara Fusion). With Ultra Instinct Goku, that makes eight of him on the roster.

Now, I’m not against Goku as I love him as a character but this is past being a Super Saiyan bargain sale. There are so many other characters from the Dragon Ball world that could be interesting additions. Characters such as Chi-Chi, Toppo, Kefla, or Master Roshi, who I’ve held onto hope that he’d one day make it into the game. Oh well, if the community wants another Goku, who am I to complain.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is available on the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
