The year is 2020, the date is January, which means it’s time for a new year, and a new decade, and for the Nintendo Entertainment Podcast to look forward at the year to come! It’s time for the Draft!

But first, the guys talk about the games that they have been playing! Todd has finally gotten the chance to play Pokemon Shield, and he’s noted some key differences from it and his Sword run! Will has been finishing Death Stranding, Judgment, and more. Tyler has been playing a menagerie of games, and the returning Captain Toad Taylor will regale us with his latest gaming stories too!

Then, in the news, there has been a lot of rumors and speculation going around with the Nintendo Switch and its new potential games! Is Metro Redux and Red Dead Redemption 2 coming? Is a Nintendo Direct coming soon? Where is Bayonetta 3? What’s this about a Mother 4 fan-made game? Is Dragon Quest 12 really real? What about the return of Golden Sun? And more!

Finally, in the 4th Annual Nintendo Draft, the guys outline everything that they think Nintendo needs to do to have a successful 2020! Will they focus on games they NEED to make? Or focus on their internet and UI interface? What about 1st and 3rd titles, which is more important to the system? The guys talk it out and debate!

So sit back, relax, and enjoy the first Nintendo Entertainment Podcast of 2020!

Plus, vote in our poll, which of these ideas is crucial to Nintendo having a big 2020?

Don’t forget that we want YOUR suggestions for opening themes for future episodes of the podcast!
