While Bandai Namco’s anime action RPG, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, doesn’t get released until January 17th, 2020, today’s the day where we can start showing you footage from the game. So of course, just like the anime, we had to go all out. A big thanks to Bandai Namco for sending us over a copy ahead of time.

We’ve recorded the first few hours of the game that covers the Saiyan Saga/Return of the Saiyans Saga, as well as several side stories for you to check out. To see this, just head over to our YouTube channel or check out the entire playlist below. All footage was recorded from the PC version of the game. Some of the footage may still be encoding, YouTube has been acting weird as of late.

As for our review, be sure to look for that later next week. We didn’t get the game in time and you know our policy, we don’t like to rush through our reviews. We will, however, have an impressions piece to tide you over. Until then, enjoy our Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot gameplay footage.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot follows the anime and starts with Z Warrior’s encounter with the Saiyans, Nappa and, Vegeta, up to the end of the Majin Buu Saga. So far, it’s been faithful to the series and I’ve enjoyed it a lot more than I previously thought I would. Then again I am a huge fan of the Dragon Ball anime series.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot releases on January 17th, 2020, for the PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and PC.
