Don’t forget that episode 7 of ‘The Mandalorian’ arrives early this week

By Keith MitchellDecember 16, 2019
Disney's The Mandalorian Episode 4 Baby Yoda and Mando, The Mandalorian Season 3

Even Mando has to make way for The Rise of Skywalker

While my favorite show on Disney+, ‘The Mandalorian’ typically airs on Friday’s, this week’s episode is arriving a bit early. That’s right, as of Wednesday, December 18th, 2019, you’ll get to watch the antics of the adorable Baby Yoda (really hate that name). That and whatever else Mando is up to as well.

Why is this episode arriving early? Well, unless you’ve been living under a rock or avoiding the news, you’d know that ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’ hits theaters this Friday. Disney wants you in those theaters and watching The Mandalorian. Maybe Disney doesn’t get it, but you can never have too much Star Wars. As for myself, I can’t wait for Friday to get here. For better or worse, I’ll be in attendance to watch the ending to the Star Wars movie saga.

There’s also going to be a sneak peek of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in this week’s episode. So if you wanted to avoid as many spoilers as possible. Then maybe you should skip out of watching this episode. Or at least wait until you’ve seen the movie.

The only sad thing about this news is that we’re almost done with Season 1. This season only has eight episodes, and once episode 7 drops, there’s only one more left. With the final episode of the season airing right after Christmas, on December 27, 2019. Yes, a second season is already planned and is set to be released sometime in 2020. We just don’t have an exact date for that as of yet.
