Jeff Kaplan Dreams Of Having Link In Overwatch 2

Overwatch 2 is already a much-anticipated title despite precious few details being known about it outside of its story focus and how it’ll run next to the original Overwatch title. There is buzz though about new characters that might be coming to it. And though it’s never happened before, some fans are already dreaming about potential crossover characters that could enter the game via Microsoft, Sony, and now Nintendo via the recent port.

But what might surprise some gamers is that the team at Blizzard has also given this some thought, including Jeff Kaplan the Director of the games.

According to reports, nothing would make Jeff Kaplan happier than to get Link from Legend of Zelda into Overwatch 2. Granted, this is just fan-casting, but it would be a fun addition to the game, and potentially start up a trend of console-exclusive special characters.

Nothing is impossible, even if it is unlikely.

Overwatch 2 is due to be released sometime during 2020 for the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
