Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will freeze PC gamers on Jan. 29th 2020

By Keith MitchellOctober 25, 2019
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne

While Capcom has already released Monster Hunter World: Iceborne on the PS4 and Xbox One, the PC version was delayed. Much to my dismay, and exactly what happened with the base game.

Capcom did release a tentative release date, but I was under the impression it would be delayed. Thankfully, Capcom has reaffirmed the release date isn’t moving and PC gamers will be able to jump into the frozen realm on January 9th, 2020.

Check out our review of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne on the PS4.

They also released a nice looking trailer, in 4K at that. Here we’re able to see the PC version in action. Features such as high-resolution texture packs, 4K resolution support, uncapped frame rates (YES!), ultra-widescreen support, DirectX 12 support, and improved keyboard and mouse controls are all included in the PC versions

All of which should make for an amazing port when this finally touches down on the PC. I haven’t played Monster Hunter World in a while, but I can’t wait to get frostbite in places I shouldn’t.

Head on over to Steam and pre-order your copy today. Oh, and if you do pre-order you’ll also snag the Yukumo Layered Armor Set.
