Call of Duty: Modern Warfare New Maps and 50v50 Mode Leaked

By Diego PerezOctober 29, 2019
Modern Warfare

We here at The Outerhaven have been loving Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and enjoying the base game’s content since it launched last week, but it looks like we might have gotten our first glimpse at what’s next for Modern Warfare thanks to a leak from the official Call of Duty companion app. First spotted by Reddit user HashOneTBer, the new map is supposedly called “Train Station” and will support two teams of 50 players, making it the larger than anything in Modern Warfare at the time of writing.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

It’s unknown when the first batch of post-launch content will arrive in Modern Warfare, but we do know that all maps and modes will be available at the exact same time across all platforms completely free of charge, which is a step up from previous years’ month-long exclusivity deals. The game will be getting multiple battle passes to coincide with in-game “seasons,” so it’s safe to assume that the first batch of content will coincide with the launch of the first season.

Train Station isn’t the only map for Modern Warfare to have been leaked thus far. Data miners discovered that remakes of fan-favorite maps Rust and Shipment are in the works, with the latter being renamed to Cargo. Notable Call of Duty leaker TheGamingRevolution uploaded a video highlighting the Train Station leak as well as the Rust and Shipment data mining, and his track record is incredibly solid when it comes to revealing content before an official announcement. Outside of these maps, TheGamingRevolution also mentions two other maps called Spear and Farms, as well as numerous other remakes of popular maps like Terminal from Modern Warfare 2.

It looks like a ton of awesome Modern Warfare content is on the way very soon, and we can’t wait to get our hands on it.

When he's not playing video games, Diego's talking about video games, and he does both a lot.
