Can your PC play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

With the release of Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare just weeks away, the company has released the required and recommended PC specs.

Interesting enough, they’ve presented a handful of baselines, ranging from bare minimum to competitive gaming, Ray Tracing enabled and the granddaddy of them all, 4K with Ray Tracing enabled. Needless to say, there’s a lot of variation going on here, so be sure to plan accordingly.

Speaking of which, I know there some concern regarding the storage required for the install, to which Activision has addressed in a statement. While the recommended size is 175GB, that won’t be the initial download size. That will be much smaller.

Note! In each of the Specs, the HDD references HD space of 175GB. 175GB is the storage space we recommend players keep available in order to download the post-launch content we’ll be bringing to Modern Warfare. At launch, the initial download will be smaller.

Now, it’s weird that they pulled an arbitrary number out of nowhere. And since the game isn’t available for pre-load, we can’t confirm this either. Either way, check out the specs below. Be mindful that if you want the best experience possible, then your system will need to be top-notch.
