Borderlands 3’s Bloody Harvest Event Goes Live Later This Week

By Diego PerezOctober 22, 2019
Borderlands 3

Borderlands 3 is getting its first major post-launch content update in the form of “Bloody Harvest,” a Halloween themed event that will provide players with new weapons, enemies, and cosmetics.

Haunted versions of standard enemies will across each of Borderlands 3‘s planets and can afflict Vault Hunters with a “Terror” debuff that will negatively affect weapon accuracy and blur your vision. Defeating haunted enemies will reward you with “Hecktoplasm,” a currency that can be exchanged for access to Heck, the main setting of the Bloody Harvest event. Here you can challenge Captain Haunt, the event’s boss, and also farm for some of Bloody Harvest’s new items, including Vault Hunter skins, a weapon trinket, a new Echo device skin, and a legendary shotgun called Fearmonger.

Bloody Harvest will be a free update for all owners of Borderlands 3. The event will run from October 24 through December 5. If you’re still on the fence about Borderlands 3, you can check out our review here.
