New Code Vein demo released for PS4 and Xbox One

Sadly, there’s nothing for the PC crowd

With a few weeks left until the official release of the game, Bandai Namco has released one more demo for Code Vein. Similar to the previous Code Vein network test, this demo will give players access to the customization system and an early portion of the game. So if you weren’t sure about picking up the game, this demo should be representative of the finished game.

Sadly, this is just a PlayStation 4 and Xbox affair, yet again. Leaving the PC crowd high and dry just like the past few betas and demos. I guess Bandai Namco doesn’t want the PC crowd attempting to data-mine anything and ruin any possible surprises. Though, this makes me uneasy as I’d love some indication on how the PC version is going to perform.

In addition to this demo, two trailers were released. While there’s nothing new shown, in the “Demo Announcement Trailer”, maybe its just me but I feel like the visual quality has been upped. I’ll be diving into this demo to see what’s changed from the last time @Will gave his very lengthy report from the Code Vein network test. While the “Insatiable Desport Boss Trailer” is short but gives a look at a boss we haven’t seen before. If you want to avoid being spoiled, I’d skip that one.

Code Vein releases for the PS4, Xbox One and PC on September 27, 2019. After all the delays, are you still looking forward to this “Anime Souls” game? Let us know in the comments!
