These Need For Speed Heat videos should raise some excitement

Gameplay trumps CGI trailers any day

When EA finally showed the world the upcoming Need for Speed: Heat, a thousand things were going through my head at the time. Many of which were pretty negative, as there hasn’t been a decent NFS in quite some time. Then EA goes and shows us a trailer that doesn’t have any gameplay in it. That didn’t help.

Thankfully, there’s been many videos showing up that show off both the customization options and some gameplay. One of which shows off a favorite car of mine, the Nissan GT-R (I love that car!), while another shows off how the police pursuits work. Oh, how I missed those.

These videos have given me some hope that the game might just be decent, as we’re seeing the game in action. Something of which EA should have known this exactly what the masses wanted, gameplay. Not some CGI trailer, not some smoke and mirrors. Actual gameplay, of which there’s ample of below. We don’t know what system these videos are from, as none of them mention it.

Check these videos out and let us know what you think about Need for Speed: Heat in the comments.

Need for Speed: Heat launches this November 8 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
