You already know that I’m the biggest “Soulsborne and games similar” here on this site. So it’s of no surprise that I can’t wait for The Surge 2 to be released. After playing the beta, the wait got even worse. Now, the publisher and developer of the game have released a new gameplay trailer.
Way to ruin my Monday…. who am I kidding, it’s Monday.
The Surge 2 will deliver brutal combat in the winding streets of Jericho City on September 24. Waking with no memory of the plane crash that left you stranded here, you’ll have to survive rampaging machines, fanatical cultists, and much worse as you explore and discover the truth of your corrupted world. With new ways to customize and upgrade your character, as well as enhanced combat that includes a new directional block system. The Surge 2 looks to up the ante from the original game. Needless to say, I’m all in for this.
The Surge 2 launches September 24 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. As for me, you’ll be able to find me on Mixer streaming the hell out of this game once it drops.
