Spyro Reignited Trilogy Lands on PC and Switch Next Week

By Diego PerezAugust 26, 2019
Spyro: Reignited Trilogy

Spyro is finally making his way to Nintendo Switch and PC almost a full year after the initial release of Spyro Reignited Trilogy on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Check out the launch trailer below.

For those of you unfamiliar with the Reignited Trilogy, the game features Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon full remade from the ground up for modern platforms. We loved the collection when it launched on PlayStation 4 last November, and you can check out our review here.

On PC, the games will no doubt look amazing, but the performance and graphics on Nintendo Switch are sure to take a small hit. Crash fared pretty well in his transition to Nintendo hardware though, so it’s safe to assume that Spyro will too. Being able to play these games on the go is more than worth any potential tradeoffs.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy hits PC and Nintendo Switch on September 3. Both versions will be priced at $40.
