Full video of Marvel’s Avengers: A-Day prologue gameplay released

By Keith MitchellAugust 21, 2019
Marvel's Avengers A-Day prologue gameplay

After all the teasing and stalling, Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have finally released the full gameplay footage of Marvel’s Avengers: A-Day Prologue Gameplay. The same footage that was reserved for those at San Diego Comic-Con 2019 and was promised to be released during Gamescom 2019.

Well, it’s here for all to see!

Now, we’ve seen bits and pieces thanks to several events and the leaked footage. However, this time around we’re able to see all of the gameplay footage for each character. Yep, we’re finally able to see Cap, Ironman, Thor, Hulk and Blackwidow in full HD glory.

Admittedly, I’m not really excited about what I’ve seen. The exception being Cap’s gameplay, followed by Ironman’s. Everyone else looks generic and not very fun, though being the person at the controls could very well be the difference. It’s always hit or miss with this sort of thing.

Still, I’m going to reserve any judgment until the game is both completed and in our hands. Which is what everyone should be doing.

What do you think of the footage?

Marvel’s Avengers hits store shelves on May 15, 2020. The game will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia.
