A new anime was announced at Anime Expo called Gibiate. The anime was announced by the aptly named Gibiate Project, which contains Final Fantasy artist Yoshitaka Amano. The announcement came during Anime Expo’s closing ceremonies; however, there is no information about when the anime will release. They did state that there would be a screening of the anime at Anime Expo 2020 next July.
