PS4 Owners To Get A Taste Of Monster Hunter World Iceborne Early

Heads up all you PlayStation 4 Monster Hunter lovers, as Capcom has some good news for you. Next week, they’ll be letting you get a taste of the upcoming expansion, Monster Hunter World: Iceborne.

Starting on June 21st – June 24th, 2019, PlayStation Plus members can access the demo. Followed up by a second wave that will be held from June 28th to July 1st, 2019. You won’t even need to own the base game, as the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne demo will not require it.

Included in the demo will be three different quests, that range from beginner to experts. For beginners, they’ll get to hunt down the Great Jaguars, while intermediates will try their luck again the new wyvern Barbaro. For those who love a challenge, the Tigrex is waiting for you. I remember the Tigrex from previous Monster Hunter games, it’s not an easy task to take it down. Should you win, you’ll score some cool items that will follow you over to the full game.

The entire demo will take place in Hoarfrost Reach, the new location in Monster Hunter World. According to Capcom, it’s also going to be the largest location for the game so far. I can’t wait and I’m sure my fellow Monster Hunter fans are in agreement. I was hoping Capcom would give us a taste of the game before it launches and here you know. Though, it is a bit of a bummer that Xbox One owners are left out, again. Hopefully, this won’t be the last demo/beta before Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is released.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne releases on September 6th, 2019, for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. PC gamers will have to wait until Winter 2019, which could extend into 2020. Yeah, I know, I’m right there with you on that sentiment.
