During Nintendo’s E3 2019 Direct, they showed off a snippet of a remake of the first Panzer Dragoon title. This remake is being developed by Forever Entertainment and is headed exclusively to Nintendo Switch. This was originally announced back during December 2018, along with Panzer Dragoon II Zwei, which is also getting the remake treatment.

According to Forever Entertainment, this remake will be faithful to the original game that debuted on the Sega Saturn. Of course, with improved graphics, as well as the classic soundtrack that has endured through the ages.

I wasn’t sure when we’d see this game in action, but I’m glad to see how far it is in development. The Panzer Dragoon series is easily one of my favorite games of all time.  The game looks really nice and for those who’ve ever played the Saturn version. You can see that the graphics have been improved. Though the sound effects aren’t quite there yet.

There’s currently no released date for Panzer Dragoon: Remake, but expect it Winter 2019. I can’t wait for it.
