E3 2019: Arcade 1UP Shocks The World With A 4-Player Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade Cab

I completely and totally need this

I grew up during the golden age of arcade games. X-Men, Street Fighter, Ninja Warrior, Bad Dudes and countless other games that would take me weeks to talk about. So when I learned that Arcade 1up was producing mini-arcade cabinets, I swore that I’d get one. Especially since one of my goals of owning a house was also owning one (or more ) arcade cabinets. I just didn’t know which one to get.

Well, now Arcade 1up has made my decision a bit easier, as they’ve unveiled two new cabinets at E3 2019. One of which is a four-player Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cabinet.

That’s right, the four mean green ninjas are back,  3/4 scale sized. Included in this DIY kit is the original Konami TMNT Arcade game, and TMNT: Turtles in Time. It’s also the first Arcade 1up cab to feature four players. The second cabinet features several of Capcom’s titles, Marvel Super Heroes, X-Men: Children of the Atom, and The Punisher. Not sure why the Punisher is included in there, but I really don’t care either. Because this is simply awesome, both of them are.

According to Forbes, the TMNT cabinet is priced at $349 while the Marvel cabinet is priced at $299. Sadly, there’s no release date set for either of these beauties. There’s also the speculation that Arcade 1up is primed to show off another arcade cabinet today.

I’m sure my wife won’t mind me buy one (BOTH) of these kits. I know my inner child won’t give a damn either way.
