It’s almost here! Rage 2, an ambitious open-world shooter from Avalanche Studios and id Software is nearly here. Of course, what’s an upcoming release without a release trailer?
Oh, I see, Bethesda already dropped that trailer. Well, I suppose we should take some time out and watch it….. wait, this is insane stuff. I can do all this when the game gets released? Yep, I’m all over this and then some. I’m also impressed that this game remained as a single-player experience. You don’t see that happening too often.
Dive headfirst into a dystopian world devoid of society, law, and order. Rage 2 brings together two studio powerhouses—Avalanche Studios, masters of open world insanity, and id Software, the gods of the first-person shooter—to deliver a carnival of carnage where you can go anywhere, shoot anything, and explode everything.
An asteroid has annihilated 80 percent of the earth’s population, and humanity’s numbers are dwindling. Rage 2 releases on May 14, 2019, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Also keep in mind that if you want access to the iconic DOOM weapon, the “BFG” then you’ll need to pick up either the deluxe or collector’s edition (which includes some other goodies). The standard version sadly doesn’t include it. Don’t get me started on that, or you’ll be here all day.
