Gameloft Brings Xbox Live Features to Mobile Titles

By Josh PiedraMay 7, 2019
Gameloft

Microsoft’s expansion of their services beyond their own console continues with Gameloft bringing Xbox Live features to three titles on iOS and Android! Those titles are:

  • Asphalt 8: Airborne
  • Asphalt 9: Legends
  • Dragon Mania Legends

With this, Gameloft becomes the first mobile game developer to integrate and support Xbox Live on the mobile platform. Microsoft made this possible by earlier announcing a cross-platform sandbox developer’s kit (SDK) which opened up such features to mobile developers.

The SDK allows developers to have a choice as to which Xbox Live features they wish to enable or disable. Microsoft is truly working to bring a unified gaming experience to the industry. If proven successful, perhaps a certain other company (COUGHsonyCOUGH) would like to get in on the act and participate as well.
