Get Hype, The Mortal Kombat 11 Launch Trailer Is Here And It’s Freaky Like Friday

Mortal Kombat 11 drops in just one more week! It’s almost time and to get the hype train going even faster, WB Games has dropped the release trailer for the game. Which is actually pretty damn awesome, funny and has been looking forward to the story.

Not to mention that MK11 looks way better than Mortal Kombat X ever could. Just goes to show how games created in Unreal Engine can look and this looks really decent. I suspect those who pick up the game for the PS4 Pro, Xbox One X or PC are going to be in for a surprise. Not to mention that all versions of the game will run at 60FPS. Yes, that also includes the Switch version. Which also happens to be launching the same day as the other versions.

Full story summary below:

In the trailer, Kronika, the Keeper of Time, has signaled for a new era to begin as she tries to rewind time to its beginning and restart history. In order to restore balance to the realms, players must take on the role of numerous fighters from different eras, culminating in the ultimate generational clash as current characters collide with their past selves.

The launch trailer features both cinematic story moments coupled with crushing gameplay showcasing the growing roster of confirmed playable fighters in Mortal Kombat 11, including Scorpion, Raiden, Sub-Zero, Sonya Blade, Skarlet, Baraka, Geras, Kano, D’Vorah, Kabal, Jade, Johnny Cage, Cassie Cage, Erron Black, Jacqui Briggs, Kotal Kahn, Noob Saibot, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Jax Briggs, Cetrion, The Kollector, Kitana, and Shao Kahn.

Mortal Kombat 11 releases on April 23, 2019, for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.  I can’t wait to dive back into the series, what about you?
