It’s been an interesting day of news so far, and Wayforward has decided to drop one more big bombshell on the day. And that is that the beloved half-genie hero Shantae is coming back! Her last adventure was not only a Kickstarter-funded hit, but it was ported onto many systems. And now, her next title will be Shantae 5!

The fact that it is coming to not only all of these platforms, but is coming out later this year is very impressive. Likely meaning that Wayforward has been working on the game for some time. No major details have been revealed on the title outside of its release, but given how the previous games have played, you can expect a fun platforming adventure with magic, mischief and belly dancing!
