Check Out 20 Minutes of Devil May Cry 5 Gameplay Featuring V

By Keith MitchellMarch 6, 2019
Visions of V

Now that the floodgates have been opened and our Devil May Cry 5 review is finally been posted. We’re allowed to post a little bit of gameplay from the review. 20-minutes of footage to be exact. Any more than that and Capcom might send Nero after us.

As such we decided we’d show off the character know as V. Seeing how Dante and Nero have had a lot of exposure so far, we felt that V needed some time to shine. That and I really like how V’s playstyle varies from the up and personal combat style of Dante and Nero. He’s definitely a character that takes some time to get used to, but once you get going he’s a blast.

Caution, there is a boss battle here. So watching this will also present a spoiler. You’ve been warned.

This footage was captured from the Xbox One X, which renders Devil May Cry 5 in native 4K. The downside is we’re still waiting for YouTube to finish encoding it so it’s viewable at 4K. Sorry, we can’t make it encode the footage any faster. We wish we could.

Devil May Cry 5 releases on March 8, 2019, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Expect to see more footage from us and possibly even a couple of live streams once that date comes around.
