SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy Heads To The PC This Month

By Keith MitchellFebruary 16, 2019
Nakoruru SNK HEROINES Tag Team Frenz

I know I’ve said this time and time again, but I love the fact that the PC is getting more niche titles. This time, SNK is bringing its mostly female fighting game, SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy over to the PC. It will be available on February 21, 2019, as confirmed during EVO Japan 2019. No word on the price.

Originally released for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy combined fighters from the SNK universe. Praised for its unique fighting system, the title has been received well since its released. Ok, it’s been mostly received well – most people I talked to seemed to enjoy it. Others felt the game was a bit insulting, but who am I to judge. I mean, Dead or Alive exists and I used to enjoy that.

For those unfamiliar with the game, it features a 2 vs 2 format, single button special moves (for accessibility) and you can even use items during gameplay. It also features a co-op offline/online mode, and even waging system for those who like to bet it all. You can even customize your characters thanks to the different accessories to be had in the game. There’s quite a few special guests as well, such as Fatal Fury/King of Fighters favorite, Terry Bogard,  and Skull Mania from Street Fighter EX Skull Mania.

Anyway, I didn’t expect to see this title making its way to the PC but I’m happy to see that it did. Hopefully, it will have a healthy online scene and won’t die out anytime soon. While you’re here, be sure to check out our review of the game.
