Award-Winning PC Game “To The Moon” Is Coming to The Switch

To The Moon

X. D. Network is bringing the award-winning game, To The Moon, to the Switch via the Nintendo eShop this summer. The game will be completely remade for the Switch, which takes the original RPG Maker blueprint and recreates it in Unity.

The game first came out on PC back in November 2011 and it was released years later on mobile on May 2017.

For those unfamiliar with the game, here is a little synopsis from To The Moon’s steam page:

“This particular story follows their attempt to fulfill the dream of an elderly man, Johnny. With each step back in time, a new fragment of Johnny’s past is revealed. As the two doctors piece together the puzzled events that spanned a lifetime, they seek to find out just why the frail old man chose his dying wish to be what it is.

And Johnny’s last wish is, of course… to go to the moon.”

You can check out the announcement trailer down below which showcases the new art style for the game with a little bit of witty banter between the two main characters, Dr. Eva Rosalene and Dr. Neil Watts.

So far, this remake has only been announced for the Switch and we do not know if it will be released for PC or any other platforms.

To The Moon will be available on the Nintendo Switch eShop this summer.
