The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III Coming West This Fall 2019 Exclusively On The PS4

No, it’s not The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IIII

Ah yes, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III. The chapter in the Legend of Heroes series, and a game that everyone has been asking when the heck is the release date. Well, ponder no more as we finally know when it’s coming – This fall 2019 and exclusively for the PlayStation 4.

In a recent update from NIS America, not only do we have a release window. But also know now that which localization team will be handling the localization. Which just happens to be the same team that worked on the first two games in the series when it was handled by XSEED. Wait a second! Didn’t XSEED handle the localization on their own? It seems a bit odd for XSEED to work on this when NIS America is releasing the title in the West. As such, we’ve reached out to NIS America to find out exactly who is handling the localization efforts.

However, that news might not be enough as I’m sure more than a few gamers are still upset with how NIS America handled the Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA port.

It also means those rumors of the title also appearing on the Switch were also false. However, there’s no telling if the game doesn’t make its way to that platform and possible the PC after it gets released. I mean, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA ended up the same way. As did the other The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel titles.

What do you think about the news? Happy about the release window or bummed that XSEED is not handling the game? Let us know in the comments.
