Resident Evil 2 Remake Will Supposedly Take Around 10 Hours To Complete

By Keith MitchellJanuary 17, 2019
Resident Evil 2

The release of Resident Evil 2 Remake is almost at hand. As such, Capcom has been making the rounds and dropping more information on the game. The last bunch of news is regarding the time it takes to complete the game.

According to director Kazunori Kadoi and producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi during a recent event that was held in Dubai, the game will last about 10 hours per each character. Seeing how Capcom updated the campaigns, instead of Leon and Claire sharing the game campaign. Instead, each will have their own. So this means a full playthrough will last you about 20 hours. That is if you don’t go exploring and go playing on the hardest difficulty.

Of course, that’s also not counting the mini-game for both Hunk and Tofu, who were both recently revealed. Even still, 20 hours seems to be the perfect number. I’m also pretty sure that we’ll see a number of people who will be waiting to speed run through the game as well.

If you can’t wait to get your hands on Resident Evil 2 Remake, you can always try your hand at the “1-shot” demo. You get 30-minutes to complete the demo, or not. I’ve been playing it non-stop since I downloaded it, this is the stuff of a good time. It also makes the wait for the game that a bit more bearable.

Resident Evil 2 Remake launches this January 25, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
