Nintendo announced today that in conjunction with LINE Corporation, they will be launching a mobile edition of Dr. Mario entitled Dr. Mario World. While an exact release date hasn’t been given, they did state that they are aiming for an early summer release in over 60 regions, including both Japan and the United States. Dr. Mario World will be free to download but will have in-app purchases.
NHN Entertainment will be the main developer behind the mobile app and will be available for both iOS and Android devices. Nintendo has not released any further details about the game.
