Kingdom Heart III’s Secret Movie Is Now Available To Download

By Keith MitchellJanuary 31, 2019
Kingdom hearts 3

Now that Kingdom Hearts III has been released and a few days have passed, the secret movie that wasn’t shipped with the game is now available. Both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners can download this movie, assuming you’ve met the requirements.

"The #KingdomHearts III secret movie is now available to download around the world.

You'll be able to watch it if you have made it to the end of #KingdomHearts III and fulfilled different requirements depending on your difficulty setting. See you guys later." – Tetsuya Nomura pic.twitter.com/C20SQayHlv

So how do you unlock this secret movie? Well for starters you need to have beaten the game, so that’s the first requirement. The second depends on how many Lucky Emblems you managed to take pictures of throughout your game. These look like the Mickey Mouse logo from Disney and they’re scattered all through the game.

If you’ve played the game on the Beginner mode, you’ll need to snap pictures of all 90 of the lucky emblems in the game. You’ll need fewer of them for Normal and Proud mode, we just don’t know the exact number just yet. But if you manage to get meet the requirements, you’ll be able to unlock the secret movie.

Haven’t collected any or don’t know where to look? Check out IGN, as they have a handy guide on locating them all.

  • Olympus (Hercules) – 12 Lucky Emblems
  • Twilight Town – 9 Lucky Emblems
  • Toy Box (Toy Story) – 11 Lucky Emblems
  • Kingdom of Corona (Tangled) – 9 Lucky Emblems
  • Monstropolis (Monsters, Inc.) – 11 Lucky Emblems
  • Arendelle (Frozen) – 11 Lucky Emblems
  • The Caribbean (Pirates of the Caribbean) – 13 Lucky Emblems
  • San Fransokyo (Big Hero 6) – 11 Lucky Emblems
  • 100 Acre Wood (Winnie the Pooh) – 3 Lucky Emblems

Good Luck! Or if you aren’t so inclined to, chances are someone will put the secret movie up on YouTube. Completely ruining the mood for many, but that’s just how it is anymore.

Kingdom Hearts III is available on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
