JUMP FORCE Adds Several New Characters from the Naruto Universe

JUMP FORCE, a fighting game by Bandai Namco and Spike Chunsoft based off of characters under the Shueisha manga publishing company, is adding several new characters from Masashi Kishimoto’s Naruto franchise!

The list of characters being added from the Naruto universe are as follows:

  • Boruto Uzumaki
  • Gaara
  • Kakashi Hatake
  • Kaguya Otsutsuki

In addition, a future DLC character was also revealed to be Obito Uchiha. 

Bandai-Namco describes the upcoming anime fighting game as follows:

JUMP FORCE celebrates the 50-year anniversary of Japan’s influential Weekly Shonen Jump magazine by pitting its most popular franchises together including DRAGON BALL Z, ONE PIECE, NARUTO SHIPPUDEN, and many more in this electrifying area-based brawler. JUMP FORCE will be available for the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, and PC via STEAM on February 15, 2019. Fans who pre-order the JUMP FORCE Ultimate Edition will be able to start playing JUMP FORCE three days early on February 12, 2019!

The game also features characters from other popular Shueisha series such as One Piece, Dragon Ball, Bleach, Black Clover, City Hunter, Fist of the North Star, Hunter x Hunter, My Hero Academia, Ruroni Kenshin, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Yu Yu Hakusho, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Saint Seiya, and Dragon Quest.
