Final Fate/stay night Heaven’s Feel Movie Slated for 2020

By Josh PiedraJanuary 16, 2019

Fate/stay night is set to wrap up the Heaven’s Feel movie trilogy in Spring 2020. The third film is officially titled Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel III: Spring Song. This will be the conclusion of the third route in the Fate/stay night visual novel. Two previous anime adaptations, the original plus Unlimited Blade Works, covered the other routes. An exact date in Spring has not yet been set for the film.

The second movie, Lost Butterfly, opened in Japan and immediately took the number spot. People who see the movie within the first three weeks of release have the option to treat themselves to three different prints. The second movie will open in the U.S. later this year.

In addition to finding success at the box office, the theme song for Lost Butterfly, “I beg you” by Aimer also sold around 30,737 copies and reached the #1 rank on Oricon’s weekly single chart. This isn’t much of a surprise since the song was composed by the great Yuki Kajiura.

The three prints that people can purchase are as follows:
