While Dead or Alive 6 has been delayed for a few weeks, the rumor of a demo has been making the rounds. Well, today we can tell you that this is definitely not a rumor. In fact, the demo is real and it’s available today.
However, there is some bad news.
But first the good news. You can download the demo right now be heading over to the PlayStation Store. The demo will be playable today a 7 am PST / 10 am EST, and it will run until January 14, 7 AM PST / 10 am EST. You’ll also need to have a PlayStation Plus account. to play, as the demo only allows for online ranked matches. Sadly, this likely means we won’t be able to set up private lobbies to test the game.
The demo consists of one playable stage, the DOA Colosseum, and five characters; Kasumi, Ayane, Hayate, Hayabusa, and the newcomer character, Diego.
The bad news? Well, the demo is only available on the PlayStation 4. So if you were hoping you’d get to check it out on the Xbox One or PC, sadly that’s not happening.
