Darksiders: Warmastered Edition Is Heading To The Nintendo Switch

By Keith MitchellJanuary 30, 2019
Darksiders Warmastered Edition Switch

Looks like THQ Nordic’s Darksiders: Warmastered Edition is heading to the Switch.

Originally released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Wii U. The title is headed to the Switch. Currently, we don’t have a release date, nor a price. There also hasn’t been any word as to what enhancements, if any, will be available for the Switch’s version. In fact, all we all to go by is the trailer that was released. Of course, once we receive more info on the title, we’ll update this article accordingly. Though, I’m really hoping that this isn’t just a port of the Wii U version. Not that there was anything wrong with that specific version, it just didn’t run at the promised 60fps. The Switch is more than capable to give us that, so hopefully, we’ll see that this time.

Deceived by the forces of evil into prematurely bringing about the end of the world, War – the first Horseman of the Apocalypse – stands accused of breaking the sacred law by inciting a war between Heaven and Hell. In the slaughter that ensued, the demonic forces defeated the heavenly hosts and laid claim to the Earth. Brought before the sacred Charred Council, War is indicted for his crimes and stripped of his powers. Dishonored and facing his own death, War is given the opportunity to return to Earth to search for the truth and punish those responsible for the act. Hunted by a vengeful group of Angels, War must take on the forces of Hell, forge uneasy alliances with the very demons he hunts, and journey across the ravaged remains of the Earth on his quest for vengeance and vindication.

Lastly, if you haven’t already, be sure to check out our review of PlayStation 4 version here.
