All Elite Wrestling Announces New Signing, Ticket Party For Next Event

By Todd BlackJanuary 25, 2019
All Elite Wrestling, AEW Con

The world of wrestling is getting a lot more attention in 2019, and one of the biggest reasons is the arrival of All Elite Wrestling. This new promotion headed up by Cody Rhodes and the Young Bucks (along with the rest of The Elite) is set to make a “new kind” of wrestling company. And so far, the world is talking about their new endeavor and begging for more.

At their recent Double Or Nothing Press Rally, they unveiled many new wrestlers and talked about how their next event would be in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand on May 25th. Now, Cody has dropped a new behind-the-scenes video called “The Road To Double Or Nothing”, a new series detailing their journey to the event. In it, Cody not only talks about how All In (their groundbreaking indie show from last year (that I was at!) influenced what they’re doing for Double or Nothing.

Another thing they did was confirm another wrestler that’s signing to All Elite Wrestling, Jungle Boy. Who came highly recommended from both the Young Bucks and Cody. And on Twitter, Brandi Rhodes noted this after posting the information for their new livestreamed event, a ticket announcement party:

Maybe I’ll bring a couple of newly signed women with me…🎲 pic.twitter.com/i7Kd1YFJ4s

All Elite Wrestling has already confirmed that AEW will have a women’s division comprised of women’s wrestlers from all over the world. Brandi is presumed to be doing this, and Britt Baker was the first announced signing for the division. So it looks like the ticket party will have even more announcements.

It’s a long road to May 25th, so more announcements are sure to be coming from Cody, the Young Bucks, and AEW in general. You can check out the first episode of “The Road To Double Or Nothing” below, so watch it and let me know what YOU think!
