The First ‘Avengers 4’ Trailer Is Here, Now Called ‘Avengers: Endgame’

avengers end game -01

It’s Friday and just like it was speculated, the first of many ‘Avengers 4’ trailers is here.

First and foremost, we finally get the official name for the movie – ‘Avengers: Endgame’. The name was there all the time, and we first heard it from Doctor Strange in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’. Sadly, while the trailer is awesome, it’s also very bleak. We’re seeing the aftermath of the Thanos snap and everyone is seems devastated. It also looks like this film takes place perhaps much later from the Infinity War events.

Tony says his goodbyes to Pepper, Nebula seems to be reminiscing, Cap and Widow are looking hopeless. While Banner looks at those who they lost and Thor. Well, Thor looks torn and is likely blaming himself because he didn’t go for the head. As I said, it looks bleak.

However, there are quite a few surprises here. Hawkeye, who was missing previously is back and he’s donned the Ronin persona. Those who followed the comics will recognize the outfit. I’m going to assume this happens because, during the snap, he lost his family. An exciting turn of events as I always enjoyed the Ronin character and there have been multiple people who donned the moniker.

We also see Scott Lang (Antman) make his return. We all saw him get trapped in the Microverse in ‘Antman & The Wasp’, but we all figured he would play a huge part in the next Avengers film. Something about time travel. In the trailer we see him listed as missing in action – only for him to appear at the end and instilling some hope for the heroes.

The title says it all folks. Endgame. But is this the end for several of the characters? Who’s going to die? Who is going to live? No clue, but I do know is this will be a battle of epic proportions and I can’t wait.

Oh, and the film now releases on April 26, 2019! That’s right, it got bumped up a month from its original release date of May 9, 2019.  When can I get my tickets?
