Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Review Round-up

By Keith MitchellDecember 6, 2018
Super Smash Bros Ultimate Dragon Ball GT

What’s up, Nintendo hopefuls! Well, today is the day that the reviews for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate have been posted. Sadly, we didn’t make the cut so you’ll have to wait for our review much later. However, that won’t stop us from putting together one place for you to check out the reviews as they’re posted.

That said, looks like this irritation of Super Smash Bros. looks to be the best one to date. From the single-player portion to the online experience. So far, everything we’ve read has been, well, super positive. We’ll keep adding scores as they’re released.

Review Scores

  • IGN: 9.4/10
  • IGN Spain: 9.5/10
  • EGM: 9.5/10
  • Gamespot: 9/10
  • Destructoid: 9.5/10
  • Kotaku: Positive
  • Nintendo Insider: 10/10
  • Polygon: Polygon Recommended
  • USGamer: Recommended
  • Twinfinite: 5/5
  • Press Start: 10/10
  • The Six Axis: 10/10
  • God is a Geek: 10/10
  • GamesRadar: 4.5/5

Review Aggregators

  • Metacritic – currently sitting at 93
  • Opencritic – currently sitting at 94

Overall, it looks that we’ve who’s reviewed the title is very happy with it. Some issues with online play, but that will be fleshed out once more players get involved. So kudos to Nintendo for what appears to be another reason to own a Switch this holiday!

Not to worry, once the game is in our hands, our review will be posted.

As Smashing effort, indeed!
