Final Trailer Revealed for ‘Kingdom Hearts 3’

By Andrew AgressDecember 17, 2018
Kingdom Hearts Final Battle

With just a month to go before the released of the long awaited Kingdom Hearts 3, a lot has been going on for the game. Yesterday, series creator Tetsuya Nomura announced that someone had leaked copies of the game. But in more positive news, the game has just received its final trailer before release. Entitled “Final Battle,” the trailer highlights the fact that this may be the end of the story, or at least Sora’s portion in it. For those who don’t want the game spoiled for them but still want a taste of what’s to come, this is your best bet. Check it out:

And this trailer has it all. Aside from showcasing the many Disney worlds and characters that will appear in the game, it also serves up tastes of the gameplay and story in equal measures. There are also sure to be some fan pleasing moments in the trailer, that hint at those in the game to come. Remy from Ratatouille is revealed in more scenes and we get a glimpse of Axel and Kairi hanging out. Hard to imagine, and to top it off Kairi’s got her own keyblade at last.

But as any Kingdom Hearts fan knows, the series is all about the balance between light and darkness. So the trailer’s got both. Just as it showcases the gang having fun with their friends, it also hints at the final battle. Aqua is shown struggling with the powers of darkness while Organization XIII returns to wreak havoc. Although some may actually have better intentions than we’ve been lead to believe.

While we’ve waited almost 14 years for this game, the wait seems especially hard know that we have so many moments teased in this trailer. But it looks like the wait may be worth it, which we’ll find out when Kingdom Hearts 3 releases for PS4 and Xbox One on January 29, 2019.
