November’s Festive, Free Update is Coming Soon to Dragon Ball FighterZ

By Zachery PaikaiNovember 28, 2018
Dragon Ball FighterZ

The month of November is looking festive and bountiful for Dragon Ball FighterZ with a free update launching across all platforms. This latest update features the new additions of a wide selection of online tournaments, collectible Z-Trophies, decorative galleries for said trophies, even seasonal Z-capsules stocked with Christmas-themed accessories and goodies. Good ol’ Shenron has delivered Christmas goodies a bit early to the Dragon Ball universe.

The various rules and settings for the available tournaments seem like they’ll make for a great time. Enter and compete within the Yamcha Only tournament, a.k.a. the Yamcha games. Or be crowned as the rightful heir for the prestigious title of “King of the Kamehameha”, a tournament exclusive to users of the Kamehameha Wave.

And for your success achieved in one of these many tournaments, players will be rewarded with a Z-Trophy for a job well done. These collectible Z-trophies can be properly displayed within Z-Trophy Rooms, which are specifically designed to mark your accomplishments.

Z-Trophy Rooms can be bought from a nice catalog of different locales by using you’re hard-earned Zeni. And once you purchase a Z-Trophy Room, you can select your favorite lobby avatars to liven the place up a little.

Finally, we have the wonderful addition of more seasonal items, including stamps, avatars, and outfits. All of these holiday-themed cosmetics are as lit as well-adorned Christmas tree on a dark winter’s night. Cell colored in festive colors is too good, and Krillin suited up as a reindeer is adorable.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is currently available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

From the Hawaiian islands, Nanaue, the Prince of Sharks first appeared. This shark man was uncontested in terms of video game prowess. His notoriety of being a top-tier game wiz angered the envious locals and eventually forced Nanaue into exile. His hunger for competition and game knowledge grew as time past. This in tow, leads him to delve into the sea of writing and gaming culture.
